Priory U14s have ended a great debut season by following up a cup win two weeks ago by winning the league title on the last day of their season.
Priory were playing Haverhill - team in second position in the league and the only team that could have stopped them celebrating an incredible first season.
Priory had to play away at Haverhill and needed one point to guarantee the top spot.
At half time it was 4-3 to Priory with two goals from Harley and a goal from Archie and Dylan.
The second half followed with Priory extending their lead to 5-3 with a great goal from Archie but a sin bin for one of Priory's players meant Priory had to see out the game with 10 men.
They managed to do this and won the game - completing the league and cup double, in their first season as a team. The boys were ecstatic and are looking forward to the challenges of next season.
