St Ives swimmers Tessa Quayle, Emily Quayle, Chloe Butler, Bertie Titheridge and Luke Tunstall all competed at the weekend.
They took part in the highly prestigious Derby Excel Level 1 open swimming meet at Ponds Forge International Olympic Pool over the weekend.
All put in good performances and swam swam close to, or obtained, new lifetime best swims against competition from all over the UK including Glasgow, Loughborough, Sheffield, Derby, Manchester, Rotheram Metro, Camden Swiss (London), Wrexham, Birmingham, Doncaster, Poole and a plethora of other exceptional swimming clubs.
Chloe achieved fourth place in the Womens 200 metre breastroke and Luke Tunstall, swimming for Loughborough University, took silver in the 50 Freestyle and the 50 Butterfly.
The younger contingent of Bertie, Tessa and Emily swam magnificently.
All were great ambassadors for the club, district and county as a whole over the weekend. Great swimming by all.
