St Neots Golf Club member, Sam Marshall, won the Junior European Open WAGR event at the San Roque last week.
Sam, 16, finished three under par for the tournament to win the title.
The competition consisted of five rounds of golf played over five days, with 140 U18 competitors.
Sam thanked his caddy Harry McDonnell and the trophy was presented by Nick Dougherty, past winner of this title, a Walker Cup player and now Sky presenter.
Sam started playing the sport at 11 and is currently coached by Paul Toyer, PGA professional at St Neots Golf Club.
