St Ives swimmer Luke Tunstall has competed in the British Summer Championships at Sheffield.
Luke finished an "excellent" 4th place in the under 18s 50m butterfly event and 8th in the 50m freestyle final.
He took part under his school colours (Mount Kelly), and he now stands 11th in the UK leaderboard for 18-year-olds in the 50m freestyle and 8th in the 50m butterfly following his impressive swimming display.
He also competed in the same disciplines for the 100m races at the competition, where he posted a time of 52 seconds for the 100m freestyle in the Mount Kelly 4 x 100 freestyle relay, with the other three swimmers of the quartet going 53 seconds each.
