Junior swimmers at St Ives Swimming Club (SISC) have recorded another emphatic victory in the Junior Fenland League, securing their place in the A Final.
St Ives saw off Huntingdon Piranhas, St Neots Swans and Bottisham Swimming Club on July 1 in Huntingdon, recording 21 first-place finishes, 15 silver medals and six bronze.
The St Ives swimmers displayed great skill and determination, working together as a seamless aquatic team to record 185 points, 18 more than second-placed Huntingdon.
Head coach at SISC, Andy Hunter, said: "This round of the Junior League has been the culmination of an extremely successful few weeks of continuous victories against all clubs in the region.

"Great credit and plaudits to them all, as they are the ones who strive and achieve their potential in the pool.
"We as coaches are privileged and extremely proud to work with them all on a daily basis."
The win seals back-to-back victories for the juniors and seniors who won their first round of the Fenland League last week.

The A Final of the Junior Fenland will take place in Peterborough on September 16, whilst the seniors compete in their final on September 9 in pole position at Ely.
Swimmers Lottie Johnson, Felix Guy-Pinkney, Zahara Lonsdale, Elizabeth Lonsdale, Ross Burdett, Layla Burdett, Miles Cannon, Soufian Abdelrazek, Harry Burgess, Jack Ballester, Remi Curliss, Finley Terry, Prachi Ghori, Flo Taylor, Belle Taylor, Annabelle Margot, Thomas Jennings, Edie Lewis, Marli Taylor, and Coaches Val Cummings and Oliver Rana Beadle were all influential on another great victory during what has been a very successful racing season.
