St Ives Rugby Club have suffered a resounding 66-7 defeat to Ely Tigers Rugby Club in the annual Percy Walker Cup.
The was also played as the semi-final for the Cambridgeshire Senior Cup.
A strong Ely side retained the Percy Walker Cup following a dominating display, pouncing on several St Ives mistakes.
A depleted St Ives did manage to score through Paul Ashbridge to make it 31-7 at halftime, but the Tigers proved too strong and kept the visitors scoreless in the second period.
The Tigers will now advance to the final of the Cambridgeshire Cup, where they will play Saffron Walden on April 15.
