Young sailors are being encouraged by Grafham Water Sailing Club [GWSC] to take part in one of its most popular events.
The club’s Gill Optimist Easter Egg and Youth Regatta encourages sailors under 19-years-old to gain experience in open meetings within a friendly and relaxed environment.
The event, due to take place over Easter on April 7-8, is open to all boats including Optimists, Mirrors, Cadets, Toppers and Fevas.
Three races are planned for Good Friday and three on the Saturday.
A GWSC spokesperson said: “Now in its ninth year, the event is designed to be as fun and welcoming as possible.
“Entry before April 4 costs £32 per boat and camping is available on site, lunch and drinks will be available and an evening meal may be arranged, subject to demand.”
