St Ives Rugby Club were forced to forfeit their final away league fixture of the season against Market Bosworth after late dropouts left the side without a front row.
Despite the points being awarded to the hosts, both sides agreed to still play a friendly, which was won by Market Bosworth 45-12.
The Bulls were indebted to late call-ups Tom Vajzovic, Matt Millar and Joshua Taylor for ensuring a full side could take the pitch.
A full-strength Bosworth side started well in the wintry sleet and ran in three tries in the opening quarter before another three-try-blitz before the end of the half took the game away from the Bulls.

St Ives found their form in the second half when Rees Burns burst through the defensive line to score, with Bosworth adding another score themselves before John Paxton crashed over for a converted score with time nearly up.
With a rest week next week, St Ives hopes they will have a full-strength squad available for their last league fixture at home on March 25 against a high-flying Vipers side who sit in second place in the Counties 1 Midlands East South.
