A man has been charged after the bomb squad was called to a residential street in a Huntingdonshire town.
Residents on Welland Close in St Ives were evacuated after 'suspicious items' were located during a search of a property in the early hours of Monday morning (November 18).
A 100-metre cordon was established and a specialist Explosive Ordinance Disposal team was deployed to the scene to deal with the items.
Paul Falder, 67, of Welland Close, St Ives, has been charged with possession of ammunition without a certificate.
He is due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court today (21 November).
