Notcutts Brampton Garden Centre has made a donation of £881 to the Coneygear Community Garden in Huntingdon.
The money was collected through a paper carrier bag charge.
This donation will directly benefit the community garden, situated in Oxmoor, by funding essential gardening equipment such as a potting bench, sprinkler system, and lawn edging.
Kim O'Brien, communities officer at the Coneygear Centre, said: “This generous donation will make a big difference in maintaining the garden and ensuring that it continues to flourish as a resource for the community.”

The garden, a beloved spot for local residents, was a gift from the Royal Horticultural Society and was designed by Arit Anderson after a BBC competition win.
Joanne Hawkins-McDowell, manager at Notcutts Brampton, said: “We are proud to support the Coneygear Community Garden and its role in fostering a sense of connection and sustainability within the area.
“It’s wonderful to see how the garden brings people together and encourages outdoor activity, and we hope this donation will help it continue to thrive.”
