The Huntingdon Cromwell Rotary Club have been hard at work collecting, crushing and donating tin cans for charity.
For the last six months, Rotary Club members have been working with residents at the Moorhouse Lodge Retirement Village and The Brampton Institute to collect aluminium cans for the Helipads for Hospital Charity.
The cans are sent off, sold, and the money raised is put towards funding for new helipads in hospitals.
Josh Pace, the grandson of Moorhouse Lodge resident Raymond Lewis, has taken on the role of 'chief can crusher' for the cause. He was presented with a 'thank you' certificate from Heather McLoone, a member of the Huntingdon Cromwell Rotary Club.
A spokesperson from the club said they were are "very grateful" for all of the help Josh has given them.
Helipads for Hospitals is a charity headed by John Nowell, an RAF helicopter pilot who helped to train air ambulance pilots.
His vision to increase the number of helipads in hospitals across the UK to better improve the medical outcome of patients flown in.
