A shoplifter has been banned from stores in Cambridgeshire for five years.
Scott Reynolds, 37, of no fixed address, was given the order at Cambridge Magistrate’s Court on Friday October 4.
The five-year order states he must not enter any John Lewis or BP Store within the boundary of the M11, A11, A505 and A14.
He must also not conceal any item in any shop within Cambridgeshire.
Reynolds previously pleaded to five counts of theft between June 26 and August 5 where he stole items including hair straighteners and food worth more than £1,000 from John Lewis in Cambridge and BP in Newmarket Road.
Sergeant Dan Scott, from the 'spree offending team', said: “Reynolds is a prolific shoplifter. We hope this order will provide some respite to businesses in the city and beyond. Any breaches of this CBO will be dealt with robustly.”
