A crash on the A428 this morning (October 8) left the main road closed for just under three hours.
Reports of a high volume of traffic on the A428 near Eltisley began at around 8am.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police confirmed that a crash had taken place, and that the road was closed for nearly three hours.
They said: "We are currently dealing with a collision on the A428 between Croxton and Eltisley.
"The road was closed at 7.55am, however, it was fully re-opened at 10.20am."
It was later confirmed that an individual had been injured as a result of the crash. They were taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
