Three flood warnings have been issued for parts of Huntingdonshire after heavy rain in the district on Monday.
It comes after the Met Office issued yellow weather warning for heavy rain across Cambridgeshire yesterday (September 23).
A "yellow" warning, meaning disruption could occur, also covered the entire East of England.
The Met Office said some areas could see 30-50mm of rain, and a few places may receive 100-120mm or more.
One red and two amber flood warnings were issued by the Environment Agency and said river levels are "rising steadily", with flooding expected.
Areas most at risk include Wyboston Lakes, School Lane in Eaton Socon, Hardwick Road and Springbrook in Eynesbury, The Paddock and Crosshall Road in Eaton Ford and River Terrace, Priory Lane, Chandlers Wharf, Brook Street, Church Street and Browns Square in St Neots.
Other affected areas include parts of Fenstanton, Fen Drayton, Swavesey, Godmanchester, St Ives, Brampton and Earith.
The red warning stated: "Further light rainfall is expected over the next 12 hours which will keep river levels high.
"Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
"We are monitoring the situation.
"We will update this message by 6pm today, 24/09/24."
