Tributes have been paid to a “much-loved” on-call firefighter who "proudly" served St Neots fire station for more than 40 years.
Mervyn Housden, who died on Sunday, has been remembered as a “well-respected colleague and friend to many” by Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service (CFRS).
A spokesperson for CFRS said: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Merv’s family and close colleagues.
“He will be sorely missed by everyone.”
