A community space in St Neots has re-opened as an "accessible and welcoming" destination for all.
Moores Walk Gardens had closed to the public in August while refurbishment works took place. The work included re-pointing the brickwork; repairing, cleaning and painting the ironwork; restoring the benches; creating a dropped access from the High Street and pruning the trees.
After a month of work, the garden re-opened to the public on Friday, September 13. Cllr Richard Slade, the Mayor of St Neots, was joined by Cllr Simone Taylor from Huntingdonshire District Council for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Cllr Slade said that the refurbishment of Moores Walk Gardens is a "shining example of what can be achieved when we come together with a shared vision".
The revamp of the community space was a collaboration between St Neots Town Council and Huntingdonshire District Council.
He added: "Their combined efforts have brought to life a garden that is not only beautiful but also thoughtful, offering a sensory experience for all who visit."
