A Huntingdonshire artist's work could feature in an exhibition in Dorset - but the painter needs your vote to get it there.
Julie Hixson, of Brampton, paints from a studio in her garden, creating predominantly seascapes and wildlife oil paintings.
She is delighted that her work, titled 'Tuck the Sea Turtle', has been selected as a finalist by the Art Unlimited Gallery for this year’s open exhibition in Lyme Regis, Dorset.
As part of the exhibition, open from September 9-22, there is a People’s Choice Award, where pe0ple can register and vote online at: www.art-unlimited.co.uk.
She said: "I’m obviously so delighted to have been picked and to be part of the competition.
"There are some amazing pieces of work on show in Lyme Regis, so any extra votes 'Tuck' receives will be most welcomed.
"I’m hoping to hold open studio events at some point soon but should anyone be interested in the meantime, please visit Instagram (@julie_hixson_art) or www.julie-art.gallery for more information about my artwork."
