The much-loved Channel 4 show, The Dog House, which is filmed in Cambridgeshire, is set to return to our screens this weekend.
The doggy dating show is filmed at Woodgreen Pet Charity in Godmanchester and follows staff there as they help find dogs at the shelter the perfect new pet owner.
The sixth series is set to begin on Channel 4 at 8pm on Sunday, September 15.
It will be on for five weeks every Sunday night, followed by a Christmas special, and an extra six episodes in early 2025.
This series aims to highlight some of the issues that are affecting Woodgreen staff as well as pet owners. One of the main talking points in the show is the rise in the number of stray dogs that are being handed into Woodgreen.
There has been a 45 per cent rise of stray pets coming through Woodgreen doors in the last year.
The show is filled with plenty of tear-jerking moments and series six certainly will not shy away from them.
Episodes are also set to touch upon how many pet owners are becoming unable to meet the needs of their animals. They will also delve into the realities of how losing a canine companion can affect dogs and their "emotional journey" through canine grief.
