Students at Longsands Academy are all smiles today as they celebrate a set of "brilliant" GCSE results.
The grades have led to a three year upward trend in GCSE results at Longsands Academy, and the 2024 results are above last year's national averages.
Some of the top performers at the St Neots school include:
- Emma Wall - Eight 9s, one 8 and one 7
- Lucy Baker - Seven 9s, two 8s, one 6
- Harriet Goodwin - Four 9s, five 8s and one 7
- Jess Webb - Three 9s, four 8s, one 7 and one 6
- Holly Stevens - Eight 9s and two 8s
- Jai Kotwal - Four 9s, three 8s, one 6 and one 5
Dr Catherine Cusick, Principal at Longsands Academy said: "I am so proud of all of our fantastic students at Longsands and want to say well done to them all.
"This is another set of brilliant results from our students who have put so much effort and hard work into their exams.
"I have seen many happy and smiling students at school today and I know these young people absolutely deserve the grades they’ve received."
