The Little Gransden Car and Air Show returns this weekend on August 25.

The annual show sees vintage cars and aircrafts at Little Gransden Air Field, as well as entertainment, craft and trade stalls, food and drink and a fun fair.

The air show line up for 2024 includes some exciting aircrafts, including model Top Gun Flyers. The full display will include:

  • WACO UPF
  • Lancaster PA474

  • Diamond Tiger Nine Team

There is also set to be more than 300 different kinds of vehicles on display too.

The vehicles include classics, customs, historic, vintage and ex-military cars and trucks.

Vintage tractors, stationary engines, model aircrafts, gilders, and a rare F1 aircraft racer will also be on the ground.

The first show was in 1992, and since then a team of volunteers have worked every year to make sure the event goes ahead. 

The day out is in aid of BBC's Children in Need, as well as various other local children's charities. As of 2024, the Little Gransden Car and Air Show has raised around £320,000 for charity.

It is organised by Pip Shoobert and the show committee, including Mark Jefferies, Ollie Hope, Sally Taylor, Tony Shoobert, Ann Ellmers, Darren Ellmers and Dave Poile MBE.

Black Cat Radio will be broadcasting live from 2pm-4pm at the event.

A family ticket, which includes two adults and two children (aged between five and 14) is £60. Adult tickets are £30, senior citizen (over 65s) tickets are £25, and junior tickets are £16. Under five-year-olds go free.

Gates open at 10am on Sunday, August 25 at Little Gransden Airfield and flying will take place between 1pm and 5pm.
