A local resident's photo shows the dramatic scene at a Huntingdonshire school after a blaze took hold this morning (Tuesday August 13).
Emergency services were called to Fen Drayton Primary School at around 8.30am after a section of its roof caught fire.
Flames and thick plumes of black smoke were seen rising from the building, which is currently undergoing building work.
More than 30 firefighters tackled the blaze while an ambulance and three Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles were dispatched to treat a man for "serious burns".
He was treated at the scene for "serious burns" before being transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
Investigations are now ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
