The Mayor and Mayoress of Huntingdon have been working hard on the Mayoral Charity Campaign.
The Mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr Karl Brockett, and the Mayoress of Huntingdon, Julie Brockett, decided to give out laptops to help support local charities in their future work.
The pair teamed up with local businesses as well as Amazon to provide groups with the technology and support they need to continue their work.
The Mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr Karl Brockett, said: "We have been working with local businesses, and Amazon, who have kindly been helping me with my Mayoral Charity Campaign in support of our community charities, to highlight the importance of our local interactions to benefit the difficult challenges faced today.
"I hope to help more communities in this project with future campaigns. In the meantime, I hope the charities I have supported will continue to grow with support from the Mayor's Fundraising Committee.
"I would love to reach out to more people in our community to see if we can make a positive difference to our communities, via business and charity groups."
