55 people have been arrested in Cambridgeshire since the start of the UEFA Euros Tournament on June 14.
All 55 individuals have been arrested for suspected drink or drug driving.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said that getting behind the wheel after a few drinks "isn't worth the risk", stating that people should always find an alternative way home.
The worrying statistic was pulled prior to England's match against the Netherlands last night (July 10), and the number may have increased since then.
