With Buckfest 2024 just a few weeks away, organisers are in full swing with planning what is their biggest event to date.

Buckfest, now in its fourteenth year, is organised and run solely by volunteers and has been voted East Anglian Festival of the Year and Cambridgeshire Festival of the Year multiple times.

The event, which takes place on July 27 this year, raises tens of thousands of pounds for local charities and good causes each year.

The main charity partners for 2024 are The Angels Foundation, Three Pillars Feeding the Homeless and Hunts Community Cancer Network.

A spokesperson for Buckfest said: "In addition to supporting three main charities each year, the festival supports smaller organisations and individuals through financial and ticket donations.

"Buckfest is a family event and generations of local families attend each year.

Live music is, of course at the heart of Buckfest, and with three stages featuring more than 20 bands so there is something for everyone.

There also be the now legendary dance tent hosted by the Beatroute collective and this year’s headline act ‘Don’t Stop Queen Now’ are the UK’s premier tribute to the legendary music of Queen – straight out of the North of England, they are an unstoppable force, delivering a performance that captures the true magic of Queen."

Buckfest 2024 is almost 90 per cent sold out so make sure you get your tickets at the Buckden Village Club.
