A man appeared on court listings this week in connection with a rape that allegedly happened at Cambridge University in 2018.
Harry Burke, of Wylye, near Warminster, Wiltshire, appeared on the court listings of Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court for a hearing on July 2, 2024.
The 26-year-old has been charged with the rape of a woman aged 16 years of age or over, under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
The incident allegedly happened on June 14, 2018 when the defendant was aged 20.
The Courts and Tribunals Service Centre said an indicated plea of not guilty or no plea has been entered.
Burke was remanded on unconditional bail until his next hearing currently scheduled for Cambridge Crown Court on July 30, 2024.
