Almost 100 tractors turned up for the annual ‘Barry Gowler Memorial Tractor Road Run’ around Ramsey, Warboys and the surrounding villages over the weekend of June 29/30.
Mr Gowler, who was from a farming background and died in December 2021, spent his final days being cared for at Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.
Therefore, donations collected on Sunday went towards Macmillan Cancer Support and Sue Ryder, .
Cambridgeshire Constabulary's Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) took part in the event and got to meet many locals - including some four-legged ones.
They also used the day to chat with the local farming community and talk about rural crime and how to keep tractors safe.
"Sorry for any disruption around the villages, but it was all for a good cause," said police.
