A drug dealer caught red handed on CCTV in Huntingdon has been jailed.
Aidan Graves was captured by CCTV operators in Market Hill to sit on a bench and hand over white powder to another man in exchange for cash at around 3am on May 9.
Staff monitoring the CCTV contacted police and he was stopped in the High Street where he was found with three bags of white powder and other drug paraphernalia.
At Cambridge Crown Court on Friday June 21, Graves, 25, of Floras Road, Littlehampton, was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and activating a suspended sentence.
Detective Sergeant Josh Mills said: “We work closely with the CCTV Shared Service of Huntingdon District Council and Cambridge City Council to help tackle crime across the county.
“Drug dealing is not welcome in Huntingdonshire and those caught will be arrested and put before the courts.”
