A woman from Huntingdonshire has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 after she was caught fly-tipping.
Shirley Harrod, from Middle Drove, Ramsey Heights, dumped several black waste sacks in November 2022 near Upwood and Haddon.
Huntingdonshire District Council have "successfully prosecuted" Ms Harrod following the fly-tipping incident.
On Friday, June 21, she appeared at Cambridge Magistrates' Court where she pleaded guilty to two counts of failing in her duty of care to ensure waste was transferred to an authorised person.
Ms Harrod was ordered to pay a total of £1,055.31 - she was fined £200, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £80, and has to pay costs of £775.31.

Huntingdonshire District Council has since issued a statement following the prosecution: "Remember, if you need waste collected and disposed of you must check for a valid Waste Carriers Licence and ask for a Waste Transfer Note."
