An afternoon tea event is being held at Upwood Cricket Club in July.
The Ladies' Day is on July 6 at the Huntingdon Road ground after a successful first event last year. This will now become an annual event in the club's calendar.
"The idea came about after one of our players suggested the club does something to thank all the ladies behind the scenes who work so hard to make the club run as smoothly as it does," said Caroline Love from the club.
The event is open to all women in the area who are invited to enjoy a free afternoon tea in their own marquee, plus a complementary first drink from the bar.
This year's event is being sponsored by The Royal Oak at Warboys which the club is extremely grateful for as without sponsorship they would not be able to develop and move forward.
