A motorcyclist who died on the A1198 following a crash yesterday (June 19) has been named.
Paul Istead, 53 and of Victory Avenue in Peterborough, died at the scene of the crash on the Papworth Everard Bypass.
The 53-year-old was riding a black Kawasaki motorcycle at about 4.50pm when he was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Focus, and then a blue Mazda C-X 3.
Another motorcyclist travelling with him on a blue Yahama bike was not injured.
The drivers of the Ford and the Mazda were not seriously injured and remained at the scene. They are assisting police with the investigation.
Cambridgeshire Police confirmed the victim's identity today (June 20).
