A local charity is looking for volunteers and fundraisers to help them continue to care for others.
Hunts Shopmobility is a small, self-funding charity that was established in 2006. It came about after Huntingdon High Street was pedestrianised, which meant that those with limited ability were unable to access shops that they normally would.
The charity hires out, at a small fee, mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs so that people with limited mobility can shop and socialise round Huntingdon.
Hunts Shopmobility volunteers are often told that if they weren't there, people wouldn't be able to get out and about.

Debbie Martin, Mel Hook and Tracey Gebel are three of the ladies that volunteer at the charity, which is based in the Princes Street car park in Huntingdon. Between them, they've supported the charity for over 17 years.
All three of them have used the charity at some point, and felt that they needed to give something back.
David Landon Cole, who is on the Chair of Trustees at Hunts Shopmobility, also volunteers with the charity.
Hunts Shopmobility is looking for more office-based staff and a fundraiser to apply for grants and funding for them.
Volunteers don’t need to come to the office as the roles can be done at home.
Anyone who wants to find out more about this and their other volunteer vacancies can email Hello@huntsshopmobility.org.uk or call 01480 432793.
