An activities leader who has worked at the same care home in St Ives for 10 years is up for an award.
Sam Shepherd, lifestyle lead at Care UK’s Field Lodge on London Road, is shortlisted in the ‘amazing activities co-ordinator’ category at the Stars of Social Care Awards 2024.
He was commended for his 'resident-centred and caring approach to organising exciting and imaginative activities'.
Sam said: “I love knowing I'm making a difference and feel proud to be nominated for this award."
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 15.
