Summer plants in Huntingdon Town Centre have been vandalised over night.

The summer planting in St Benedict's Court has been removed from the planters, with some plants being ripped out of their beds.

The plants were later recovered from Huntingdon Bus Station.

A spokesperson for Huntingdon Town Council has said that they've noticed that plants are also missing from the Market Square Planters.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the Council said: "Our Estate Services team have worked very hard over the last few weeks to get the summer planting ready, despite all the rain and bad weather.

"We are hopeful that CCTV might have caught the people who did this, but would encourage anyone with information to report it to us."
