A 29-year-old woman was listed to appear in court accused of causing “unnecessary suffering” to a puppy.
Carla Wallace, of St Ives Road, Woodhurst, is being prosecuted by the RSPCA for failing to “provide adequate nutrition” for a black and tan female puppy called Ruby.
The listing says the incident happened between October 15, 2023 and November 19, 2023.
Wallace was featured on listings for Cambridgeshire Magistrates’ Court in Peterborough on Wednesday (June 5).
Court files indicate she entered a guilty plea at the hearing.
She has been remanded on unconditional bail and her case adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
The next hearing is due to take place at Peterborough Court House on July 9, 2024.
