A main road will be shut for seven nights following a Traffic Regulation Order issued by Cambridgeshire County Council - here's why.
Potton Road, in St Neots, will be shut to motorists while repair work is made to the surface of the road.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire County Council said: "We're due to repair the surface of Potton Road, St Neots, from the junction with Cromwell Road to the bridge over the A428. Residents will be given two weeks' notice of the works.
"Works are anticipated to take seven nights and this section of road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am with diversions in place. The road will be otherwise open.
"Residents will be able to access their properties throughout."
