Get ready to immerse yourself in a musical journey of more than 80 DJs and live music acts over two days when DSCNNCT comes to Fenstanton this weekend.
The ultimate dance music festival is set to electrify Crystal Lakes near St Ives with a highly anticipated event that promises an unforgettable experience for fans of drum and bass, jungle, house and old skool rave.
The event’s fifth birthday line up features an exciting mix of both emerging talents and legendary artists with genres including acid house, breaks, disco, tech house, bassline, UKG, 140, jungle tekno, hardcore, uk hip hop, reggae, steppas, dub and ragga jungle!
Run by David Rosen and Gary Willis the Saturday line up focuses on house, breaks and classic disco. Saturday’s artists (June 8) include DJ SlipMatt, one half of rave act SL2 who bought On a Ragga Tip to the UK’s rave nation in the 90s.
Also on Saturday, Shades of Rhythm who played a pivotal role in shaping the rave scene of the 90s, as well as Grant Plant, Zurra and Frank Bessant.
And when the bands finish at Fenstanton on Saturday the fun carries on with a free after party from 11pm – 3am at the Lounge in St Ives.
On Sunday, June 9 the focus is more drum n bass, jungle, UK garage and sound system culture.
Sunday artists includes drum n bass DJs Sub Zero and Barrington, legendary junglist Uncle Dugs, as well as Kalia and Cambridge roots sound system Apex Hi Fi. There is also jungle supreme Cheetah not to mention local hiphop sensation JayaHadADream!
Set builders have gone the extra mile this year with four areas to choose from -Ozone Breakdown Stage, Green Room, Carnival Stage and Lovely Drop Stage.
