A popular Cambridgeshire tourist attraction is set to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings by putting on a whole host of events.
Imperial War Museum Duxford is hosting lectures, screening war films, and putting on air shows to mark the special anniversary.

Duxford Presents: The Longest Day
On June 6, Duxford will be screening the classic war film, The Longest Day. The film follows the build-up to the invasion, to the establishment of the Normandy beachhead. It shows both sides during D-Day.
Tickets for the screening cost £30.
IWM Lecture Day: D-Day
On June 8, there will be a full day of lectures and conversations exploring the events of D-Day. A range of historians and authors will be on hand to share their knowledge.
Tickets for the event cost £50.
D-Day and the Aerial Battle for Normandy Tour
A tour will be running at Duxford until June 10, which explores the efforts of aerial operations in D-Day and how successful they were.
Tour tickets cost £20.
Family Mission: D-Day Edition
IWM Duxford also host an interactive family day. Every weekend, you and your family can immerse yourself in 1944 and pretend that you're paratrooper recruits needed in D-Day.
As a team, you have to use your jump bag to discover more across the museum. You can learn about the chocolate rations that airborne soldiers took with them, as well as learning about the importance of chocolate on the front line - and, sample chocolate is of course included.
This event is free with general admission into Duxford.

Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show
On September 14 and 15, for £50 you can visit the Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show.
Spitfires, Hurricanes and more will be taking to the skies, and there will also be music and dance from the 1940s and family-friendly activities.
Flying Days: The Americans
If you're keen to learn about the relationship between America and Britain during the war, you can visit Flying Days: The Americans, at Duxford on July 26.
There will be over an hour of flying displays and it will cost £35 a ticket.
Duxford Flying Evening
For £35, you can enjoy an evening of flying featuring warbirds, pyrotechnics and more. It's an after-hours event which will feature a vintage aircraft flying display, on the summer evening of August 17.
Flying Days: 19 Squadron
There will be an air show dedicated to the legendary 19 Squadron - the fighter pilots who made Spitfire history at Dunkirk and in the Battle of Britain.
This air show will take place on August 31 and will cost £35.
Duxford Flying Finale
To wind down the Duxford Flying Season 2024, the IWM will be celebrating the highs of flying on October 5. Tickets cost £39.
IWM History Festival
The IWM History Festival will run from November 23 to 24, and will be two days full of historic fun.
James Holland, Damien Lewis and Dr Helen Fry will all be in attendance too.
Tickets are on sale now and will cost £50.
The Duxford Dash
The iconic Duxford Dash will return on October 20, and will see seasoned athletes and first-time runners take part in either a 5km, 10km or one mile family race round the airfield.
Tickets for the Duxford Dash will cost £19.20.
There is also a host of lectures, private tours, and family fun days taking place at Duxford throughout 2024.
