A national charity is launching new courses to help support individuals who have finished treatment for primary breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Now is working with the North West Anglia Foundation Trust to run the charity's free Moving Forward courses across hospitals in Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke.
The face-to-face course runs over two half day sessions for people who have finished their active, hospital-based treatment.
In Huntingdon, courses are available on September 11 and 18.
Courses are also available in Peterborough on June 6 and 13, and December 5 and 12.
The charity said coping with the shock of a diagnosis, treatment and side effects, and worries about recurrence can make it difficult for individuals readjust to the everyday.
Through supportive, open conversations in a safe, confidential space, the courses aim to help people connect with those who understand and find the tools they need to feel more empowered, confident and in control.
