Two new consultants are now leading their own Slimming World groups every Thursday in Huntingdonshire.
Rachel Hill’s sessions are at Brampton Memorial Hall and Vikki Sharman is taking on a group that meets at the Burleigh Hill Community Centre, in St Ives.
Rachel felt inspired to become a Slimming World consultant following the success of her own weight loss.
She joined in early 2022, two years before her 50th birthday when she wanted to be 50, fit and fabulous.
As well as losing weight and feeling amazing, she has also been able to keep the weight off through the programme.
Rachel was also still able to eat fry ups and roast dinners – but says Slimming World recipes have also now become family favourites.
She said: “I can’t wait to get started supporting her own members on their weight loss journeys, helping them to achieve the goals and dreams that they have, being with them every step of the way.”
Meanwhile Vikki is returning to Slimming World having previously been a consultant and remembers the profound impact helping people lose weight can have on their quality of life.
She said: “By offering support, guidance, and expertise tailored to individual needs, we empower those struggling with their weight to take control of their health and well-being.
“The journey of weight loss is not just about shedding pounds; it is about gaining confidence, self-esteem, and a renewed sense of purpose.
“It is about breaking free from the chains of unhealthy habits and embracing a lifestyle that nurtures both body and mind.”
Vikki will be at Burleigh Hill Community Centre, in St Ives, on Thursdays at 5.30pm. Rachel is launching her new Slimming World group on Thursday (May 2) at 6.30pm at Brampton Memorial Hall.
