Residents of a Huntingdonshire village have been experiencing multiple power cuts weekly for over a year.
The power outages in Kings Ripton are unpredictable, and their length can range from seconds to hours.
There have been at least 35 so far this year.
Michael Krause, of School Lane, said: “These power cuts are disrupting our daily lives, our work and essential services in the village.
“Everyone needs a reliable power supply, whether you’re trying to work or enjoy your leisure time.
“I’ve been complaining to UK Power Networks for months, but the outages keep happening and it’s very frustrating for everyone.”
Mr Krause has even taken his complaints to Basil Scarsella, the CEO of UK Power Networks which maintains the area’s electricity supply.
Mr Scarsella previously said a hairline crack on a power line’s overhead insulator was the problem and had been repaired.
He then sent an update on Friday (April 19) because a falling tree had caused a separate issue earlier in the week.
And yet residents still experienced another outage the following day.
Mr Krause said: “The CEO's last email said ‘I hope that the above information reassures you we are committed to ensuring a robust and reliable supply of electricity to your property.’
“The very next day, we had another power cut. So no, he hasn’t reassured us at all. Only a reliable service will do that now.”

UK Power Networks apologised to residents in Kings Ripton “for recent interruptions to their electricity supply”.
Its statement said: “Our engineers worked hard to locate the problem and brought in specialist monitoring equipment as well as line patrols.
“The problem took time to track down as it turned out to be a very difficult to spot hairline crack in an overhead insulator.
“This was replaced in March and tree trimming was also carried out in the area.”
The statement added a power cut last Monday (April 15) was caused by a tree falling onto overhead lines.
