A fundraising event held in the village of Yelling on Saturday raised £2,000.
The money from Coffee, Cake and Clothes, in the Thatched Barn, will go to Cancer Research UK and the Yelling Church Flower Festival Fund.
"We are delighted to report that we raised £2000 from the sale of pre-loved clothes and scrumptious home made cakes," said Sanchia Ascroft who helped to organise the event.
"The donation to Cancer Research will be further boosted by the on-going sale of unsold clothes which we are confident will dramatically enhance their contribution.
"We are thankful to all who supported us on the day as well as everyone who generously donated clothes, including the Vivienne Westwood ladies coat. The event would not have happened without the help of the fabulous Yelling community."
