St Ives Swimming Club's (SISC) William Roberts has added to his already impressive haul of medals in Turkey.
Will travelled to Turkey last week for the World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships which were held over five days in Antalya.
He made the final of the 200m Individual Medley and finished seventh in the world and ninth in the 200m Freestyle. He also competed in the 4 x 200 freestyle relay and the 400m Individual Medley which consists of 100 Butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 Breastroke and 100 Front crawl.
He won Bronze for the 400 Individual Medley in his age group.
William beat his personal best in the 50m free. In an amazing 4 x 100m freestyle relay, he was just pipped into fourth place by one second.
A summary of his results:
Ninth in the world 200m freestyle;
Seventh in the world 200 IM;
Sixth in the world for 400m IM.
Personal best times for: 200m free, 100m free and 100m backstroke.
