National Highways will close Toseland Road, in St Neots, for two nights while works on the A428 Black Cat roundabout to Caxton Gibbet continue.
The closure will begin on Saturday, March 23 at 7am, and end on Monday, March 25 at 5am.
It will be closed up to the junction with the A428 Cambridge Road.
The reason for the closure is to allow National Highways workers to create a new construction crossing.
A spokesperson for National Highways said on X: "To facilitate the surfacing of the new construction crossing, we will need to close Toseland Road next weekend.
"The new crossing will allow us to move equipment, vehicles, and materials along the construction route minimalising the impact on the local community."
