Edward Piniger, a composer from St Ives, has announced that he will be releasing a live album, with all proceeds going to charity.
Edward is set to sell his album 'Surfacing (Live)' and donate all of the proceeds to a Peterborough-based charity called Shine.
Shine offers specialist advice and support for people who have spina bifida and hydrocephalus across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The charity has helped thousands of families annually.
Edward's album will feature a "stripped back" performance of his pieces, which were recorded live on the river, near London.
The composer said: "My ambition is still the same as it ever was, to create music that moves people.
"Having a personal connection with Shine, I decided to donate all of the proceeds from the live album as my way of thanking them for their work."
Louise Henry, a spokesperson from Shine, said: "Shine is thrilled to be the beneficiary of the 'Surfacing (Live)' proceeds.
"Support like this is crucial for families facing the challenges of spina bifida and hydrocephalus."
Edward's album is on sale now, and he hopes to release a "subsequent EDM remix" in summer 2024.
