Little Paxton Parish Council is organising a Community Litter Pick set to take place on Saturday, March 23.
The litter pick will start at two locations in the village - the Community Pavilion on the Queen Elizabeth II Playing Field, and The Community Hub at 2 Samuel Jones Crescent.
It will run for two hours, from 2pm to 4pm.
There will be several litter picking routes available for volunteers.
They will be provided with litter grabbers, high-vis jackets, bin bags, hot drinks and chocolate biscuits.
Volunteers should bring their own gloves.
Councillor Kathy Bishop said that the litter picking "is a great opportunity to start Wombling and fill tidy bags with litter."
