Members of the British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA), which is based in Huntingdon, have helped to raise nearly £42,000 for the Alzheimer's Society.
Throughout 2023, BMRA members have held raffles and auctions at the BMRA's Golf Day and Annual Dinner, as well as a photography competition with prize donations.
Every year, the President of the BMRA, Susie Burrage OBE, selects a charity for the BMRA's funds to go to. This year, she has selected the Alzheimer's Society.

Ms Burrage said: "In recent years, we've been delighted by the generosity of our members who participate in our fundraising activities, especially when both individuals and businesses have been challenged by rising costs.
"The amount raised for Alzheimer's Society has astonished us, and we are extremely grateful to our members for their generosity and support.
"This money will enable Alzheimer's Society to make a real difference to people living with dementia, along with the research it funds to understand the causes, develop effective treatments, improve care and hopefully find a cure."
Natalie Skipper, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Society, said: "This is a truly remarkable achievement, and I can't thank BMRA members enough for their incredible support."
