Report from the Huntingdonshire Nostalgia Group from Karl Brockett.
Huntingdonshire Nostalgia Group now has a radio show on Huntingdon Community Radio on the Over To You spot.
We invite guest speakers and chat with local residents who are interested in Huntingdonshire nostalgia.
We have spoken about some of the old shops in the district and one of our recent guest speakers was Cllr Karl Webb who spoke about Huntingdon Town Hall.
We would also like to let your readers know that the Huntingdon Carnival committee is also looking for people who are interested in attending the carnival parade event in August.
Please get in touch with us to be involved in our free community carnival parade. An awesome opportunity for everyone.
There is also a Huntingdon mayoral event on the Market Square for the community to attend. This will be a motorcycle and scooter bike show which takes place on March 23, from 10am-4pm and is free.
There is an auction in the assembly room at the town Hall which is raising funds for the mayor's charity work.
Contact: Karlbrockett@icloud.com.
This will be a great opportunity to meet everyone in our community and we hope people will support the event which has been organised by me, deputy mayor of Huntingdon, and mayor of Huntingdon Cllr Phil Pearce
