Cambridge Folk Festival has announced its artist line-up for 2024, as the festival celebrates its 60th year.
The festival takes place at Cherry Hinton Hall from July 25 to 28, with tickets available at https://www.cambridgelive.org.uk/folk-festival/tickets.
Former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant will perform as part of Saving Grace - a collective comprised of Suzi Dian on vocals, Oli Jefferson on percussion, Tony Kelsey on mandolin and guitar and Matt Worley on banjo, guitar and cuatro.
The collective will rework a selection of diverse cover versions, creating 'a musical journey in its truest form'.
In an exclusive UK festival appearance, Transatlantic Sessions will celebrate the rich traditions connecting Scotland, Ireland and the US.
Guest musicians and the house band will explore their shared roots through original material and age-old songs.
Other artists in the line-up include American singer and Grammy award-winning songwriter Aoife O'Donovan, Irish singer-songwriter Dani Larkin and blues artist Fantastic Negrito.
Western Scotland's Capercaillie, who have been credited as a major force in bringing Celtic music to the world stage, will present their fusion of Gaelic culture and contemporary sound.
Performers also include North Carolina drag queen Flamy Grant, BBC Folk Award-winning singer Ríoghnach Connolly, Jerry Douglas, Katherine Priddy and Larkin Poe.
Festival favourites Oysterband will return to Cambridge 45 years after their first meeting in 1970s Canterbury, presenting their renowned blend of polkas, politics and a packed dancefloor.
Neo-folk fusion band Mitsune, fronted by a trio of female shamisen (three-stringed Japanese lute) players, will fuse Japanese folk with jazz, psychedelic and cinematic music.

Over the festival weekend, attendees can enjoy children's activities, instrument-making and song-writing workshops, a silent disco, storytelling, clog-dancing, tai-chi and a range of food trucks and bars.
