A flood warning for the River Great Ouse is in place today (February 9) for Eaton Socon, Eynesbury, Eaton Ford and St Neots.
The government service, Check for Flooding, has issued a flood warning in Huntingdon following heavy rain on February 8.
A spokesperson for Check for Flooding said: "River levels are rising in response to rainfall on Thursday 8th February.
"Flooding is expected from approximately 2:30am today and continuing through the rest of Friday 9th February.
"Areas most at risk are School Lane and Wheatsheaf Road in Eaton Socon, Wren Walk, Hardwick Road and St Marys Street in Eynesbury, St Neots Road, Mill Hill Road and Cross Hall Road in Eaton Ford, High Street, Priory Road, New Street. Hawthorn Road and Leys Road in St Neots.
"Rainfall is expected to stop in the early hours of this morning, but there may be further rain later on this morning which will keep river levels high.
"Be ready to take action to protect your property.
"Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger."
