An inquest has opened into the death of a man who died in hospital following a road collision.
Gary Owen, 57, died at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon, last Boxing Day.
His inquest was opened on Thursday (January 25) at Peterborough Town Hall.
Simon Milburn, area coroner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, said: “This gentleman was involved in a road traffic collision at some point prior to his death, and the effects of that collision have contributed to his death.”

Details from the collision were not shared during the hearing.
Mr Owen’s case was adjourned until July 15, 2024.
